Accountant (Mid-Level) – Wajda Group, Kuwait

Wajda Group in Kuwait is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant (Mid-Level) for their Finance Department. Industries: Telecom, Contracting, and Trading & Sales. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) - Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) - Perform bank reconciliations - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts and plans - Monitor cash inflows/outflows to ensure adequate liquidity - Support working capital management, payment planning, and fund utilisation - Prepare Budget vs. Actual variance analysis and management reports - Monitor receivable ageing and coordinate collection follow-ups - Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules - Assist in payroll accounting and month-end/year-end closing - Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, and internal controls - Support internal and external audits - Record financial transactions using ERP systems (Odoo preferred) Requirements: - Post-graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience - Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales industry experience preferred - Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA – part-qualified or qualified) — mandatory - Proven experience in Cash Flow Management, Budgeting, and Financial Forecasting — mandatory - Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency - Strong understanding of IFRS and VAT regulations - Available for immediate joining How to Apply: Email: Akhtar.mehmood@witsglobal.com and hrcvs18@gmail.com WhatsApp: +965 94066821 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
