HSE / Safety Engineer – KNPC Project, Ahmadi Kuwait

A professional engineering and construction management firm in Ahmadi, Kuwait is urgently hiring an experienced Safety Engineer for a KNPC project. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mech) - Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector or similar industries Preferred Additional Certifications: - Industrial Safety Diploma - NEBOSH International Diploma - Professional qualifications: CSP, CMIOSH, or CRSP - Certified Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 - Certified training in QRA, HAZOP, or HAZAN studies Key Responsibilities: - Manage OH&S requirements on the contract scope and coordinate with KNPC HSE representatives - Monitor and implement the approved HSE plan; conduct safety inductions for new employees - Prepare and deliver training sessions on Work Permit Systems, Hazardous Chemicals, PPE, and similar topics - Conduct regular site inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions for immediate corrective action - Arrange and chair regular HSE meetings for field supervisors - Participate in accident and incident investigation teams and follow up on recommendations - Participate in Critical Task Risk Assessments - Audit contractor equipment certificates to ensure validity and third-party compliance - Respond to emergency duties per the Company ERP and evacuation plan - Organise safety campaigns and awareness activities to promote safety culture - Prepare and submit safety performance statistic reports as required How to Apply: Email your CV and supporting documents to: iscohckwt@gmail.com Subject Line: Position Applied For (Safety Engineer)
